Vitabergsparken
Coming Home is an audiowalk in Vitabergsparken and a dialogue with Virginia Woolf’s feminist essay A Room of Ones Own. Similar to The Narrator in Woolf’s text, the participant will walk through the different rooms of the park, guided by their mobile phone.
Two women search for a friend gone missing, the writer Mary Carmichael. The audience hear the story of her difficulties as a writer. What do a writer need in order to create after failing and losing confidence? And what are the components of a poetic sentence?
Walking through the different rooms in the park, the participant will meet light and sound installations, a digital AR-sculpture, talking trees and a secret space for creating poetry. The performance is finished with a mini-concert with the artist Bonander.
Première 5 October 2022.
